These two suggestions are important. But we need to improve many things, almost everything.

At last, the best solution is to work HARDER and work SMARTER.

I'm from the US. I agree with you about the work harder, work smarter thing but its like thats only effective when the government is right first. Anyways, what do you mean by almost everything?

Ughhh, I think we've been talking about this for quite a long time... But once again, I'll enumerate my ideas here:

1. Fight corruption& bureaucratism: punish the corrupted ones
2. Elect new politicians from the younger generation (men and women not above 45 y.o)
3. Approve better & realistic laws on tax, investments and mineral resources usage
4. Get better infrastructure
5. Pay more attention to the ecological issues
6. Give better education

You are damn rigth. I have read about this theme on asuult-forum. I remember the author said "Let's work together until the good time comes. Don't run from your country". Well, I would say they'll certainly return, after they find what they searching. Soon! Better education, money etc.

we just have to improve things little by little, day by day...one day mongolian people will smarten up, hopefully undo the damages done by the corrupt officials and punish them.

That's all fine and dandy, but that won't improve the country that much. What you guys should do is find something that the world wants (a resource or product or whatever), and sell it. This will create jobs and stimulate the economy. This is the first step. Mongolia needs to find something that no other country really has, but the world needs.

Without a proper economy, education is useless. The people who become educated need jobs, and if there's no economy and no middle-class to pay the educated people, then they'll brain drain out of the country (like what happened in the 1960s-1980s from Asia to the US).

I suggest farm algae for biodiesel:

Algae can be used to make biodiesel (see algaculture), and by some estimates can produce vastly superior amounts of oil, compared to terrestrial crops grown for the same purpose. Because algae grown to produce biodiesel does not need to meet the requirements of a food crop, it is much cheaper to produce. Also it does not need fresh water or fertilizer (both of which are quite expensive).

3. Mongolia can produce algae biodiesel (I think)
4. You can trade with China, which really, really needs oil, and has a huge consumer market.
5. That will stimulate the economy of Mongolia
6. Which will provide revenue and will be taxed for Mongolia's infrastructure
7. Will provide the economy for the educated
8. The world needs, and will continue to need oil.

how can you retain culture if you change lifestyles?

i've seen a mongolian movie about a family who raises camels and stuff, very interesting!!! they use modern appliances, yet they still live like nomads or they were probably just camel breeders, but whatever, that movei was tite!!

anywho, modernize first by introducing their mongolian original script.. that really cool looking writting, very awesome!! mongolians need to keep their culture!

Mongolia should join China. And after that China should start a new campaign, "We are one" And China should improve Mongolia rapidly and within 10 or 15 years, the whole country should be modern like Taiwan or Hong Kong. Better than now, no improvement etc. I think a unification between Mongolia and China is important as the both nation share almost the same culture, therefore the people can assimilate well. The both country has been fighting violently in the past, and it must be stop now. Moreover, they are almost the same skin.
