It's nothing -- they were talking about the pre-colonial days when the Philippines was just a bunch of islands with different cultures that interact sometimes. He's saying Korea in the 1500's was already an established kingdom(which is true after the koryo, kogoryo, and soryo clans fought over it). Anyway it's just historical.
don't be mad, because at the turn of the 20th century. The Philippines was the most sophisticated nation in Asia - 2nd to Japan.
yea but what i find confusing is that he's saying all these things but i bet he doesn't even know that the philippines already had organized religion before hte arrival of the spanish.
he said..that Korea have established..culture.. WTF is he saying the Philippines have no culture whatsoever.... uhh! I think he's a very close-minded Korean. lol!
Pre spanish Philippines had no unified religion because there was no such thing as the Philippines back there was definately a lot of organized religions like animism, hinduism, buddism and islam.

s/he's not filipino (i can guess). if s/he ever was and/or studied history of the Philippines, without any biases whatsoever, s/he might have think that the Korea and Philippines are very much the same.
