To my Pinoy bros and sis.

Please post the products you know that are exported by the Philippines.

So that Pinoys abroad would be aware of those products and be patrons of those products from our homeland, which supports the local Pinoy businesses back home. This would be one of our way of helping our homeland, which may seem small, but at this point every bit helps.

Please support our local businesses. Buy tatak Pinoy products. biggthumpup.gif

Thank You. icon_smile.gif

Acknowledged furniture design leader Kenneth Cobonpue gives the Philippines a reason to be proud. Once again, he has highlighted the country on the map of the highly competitive world of design. Him being granted the prestigious 2005 Design For Asia Award is a fierce statement that Filipino creativity is indeed world class...

Kenneth Cobonpue Wins Design For Asia award

Cobonpue has turned his rattan furniture into modern sculptures... with amorphous shapes. His techniques with rattan have moved far ahead of the traditional and conventional. And what more... Brad Pitt was drawn to Cobonpue's design... yea, Brad Pitt sleeps on Kenneth Cobonpue's Voyage bed biggthumpup.gif

Mangoes from Guimaras are exported to China, Australia, United States and other countries. You can buy Philippine mangoes in COSCO in the United States. I read in an article in a US based Philippine news that the Guimaras mangoes even served in the White House.

The Philippines is in the world's top five exporter of bananas.

Silver Swan Soy Sauce, you'll see them in any major grocery store in the United States. You can even buy 'em in Asian store and some Mexican stores.

The Philippines is now recognized as the top Asian fine jewelry supplier in Italy... and one of the biggest sources of gold and silver in the world.

The Philippines is ranked 2nd in the world in gold reserves... and we are also rich in gemstones such as opal, jaxper, quartz, tektite, jade, garnet, epidote, jadeite, blue and green schist. The top export markets for Philippines jewelry are Japan and the US. Both account for more than half of the country's annual jewelry exports. Italy, UK, Hong Kong, and Switzerland are also among the key Philippines jewelry export markets and are significantly expanding.

*sigh*

Sometimes, i wonder why Philippines is still a third-world country neartears.gif icon_redface.gif

Well... i guess its because of the Filipinos colonial mentality... its so sad, but that's the truth icon_sad.gif

Yeah, I know, it's sad. icon_sad.gif

That's why we need to set up more businesses back home, so our countrymen and women won't have to look elsewhere to earn a decent living.

This is gonna be my next notebook purchase.

how about filipina mail order or internet brides?
kristleh

I can't blame those lonely and horny foreigners because it's a known fact that majority of Filipinas possess such hypnotic beauty, like you kristleh. love2.gif Hihihihihihihihih biggrin.gif

I know life is hard back home, but is the option for an easy way out worth the Filipina's dignity and self-respect?. icon_sad.gif

I sure as hell hope not. Filipinas are much better than that, they could be so much more than that if they choose to.

Foreigners can have the fugly ones, we Filipinos will keep the cream of the crop Pinays. icon_twisted.gif

I dunno... but most of the Filipinas that i saw with those oldies aliens (especially around Robinsons Manila) are the type of girls who "got the body, but not the looks"... meaning, "swanget" or yung iba naman nadadala na lang sa heavy make-up shrug.gif embarassedlaugh.gif.

Sa isang article na nabasa ko about men living in a desert... ang ginagawa daw nila kapag bored sila, nagbabasa sila ng FILIPINA Mail Order Bride Magazine then they masturbate out of it.

you want me noh? mwahahaha. biro lang. laugh.gif

one more thing: NURSES. it seems everywhere i go in the US, even the backcountries there are Filipino nurses.

The US and other countries surely can't get enough of those "unqualified Filipina nurses" and are willing to pay them six figure salaries Talktohand.gif

Were you able to pass the Board of Nursing exam here in the States? Do you have any idea what the percentage is of those who take the exam pass?

There are lots and lots of stuff but I would love it if they export hotdogs and sausage because I am tired of sardines. Sana letson din... but I plan to buy rambotan seeds and jackfruit seeds so I can plant some in my backyard.
