tibet has historical and cultural links with india. right now there are thousands of tibetans living in india including their( also mine) supreme leader THE DALAI LAMA. So do you think india should work against beijing?

Well, this issue is more complex than that.
Tibet and China have to solve their problems alone. India can't get involved because it is not within its realm of authority.

It would be stupid for india to get involved.

yes an no.
1. tibet shouldn't belong to china.
2. tibet should be it's own free nation.
india doesn't want to start a conflict with china because china supports pakistan and vice versa.

Tibet is already part of the People's Republic of China, the same as Sikkim is part of the Indian Republic. It would be unwise and undiplomatic for India to call for Tibet's independence, as it would strain the booming relationship with India and China.
China and India are the leaders of Asia-Pacific, and both should work together and evade quarells such as this.
Main goal: Modernization, increase human development index.

From what I have heard, Tibetians want to be under India because of its freedom but also under China because of its better economy and infrastructure.

It's too late, I think Hans already outnumber Tibetans now. Except for meddling in it's religous affairs, I actually think Tibet is better off under China.

First of all, Tibetans are not spelled the way you did. Secondly, what you said isn't true because I know how we feel.

Honestly no, you don't want to start anything with crazy china. They're one step below suicide bomber crazy, and there is no need to get into a war with country that is willing destroys its legitimacy to gain control of an island that it has tenuous claim to.

Tibet is South and Central Asian. Not East Asian. It should be free

Why would this even be an issue for India?
If India recognizes the independent Tibetan government, then China won't recognize India. If you try to take the territory by force, China will respond by force.
From what you gain and what you lose, your results would be pretty one-sided.

That's really pie in the sky answer. There own spiritual leader is to be busy meeting foreign dignitaries and Hollywood celebrities. I really wonder if he cares about Tibet.

then China won't recognize India
That kind of a silly thing to do, even if India did recognize Tibet. Plus, it would look childish on China's rap sheet with other nations. I say if India recognizes Tibet as a independent state, so be it. India wouldn't help them besides letting Tibetans stay in their country.

Considering that China does that with countries that recognize Taiwan, I certaintly wouldn't doubt it.

Well, in 2005 China finally recognized Sikkim as an Indian state and as such India responded by officially recognizing Tibet as a Chinese province. Neither side was going to take action on either issue.
I can see China recognizing Arunachal Pardesh as an Indian state in the near future, because it would be highly unbenefitial for China to take any military action on the matter.
