Yeah, the Lao dragon looks cool, but I think too many Asians have a dragon tattoo. It makes the whole thing too common, that's why I prefer the 3 headed elephant. The 3 headed elephant is straight up Lao, that's why I like it.

hey Corky, one quick question, what's the difference between the Irish and the Scottish? Are they ethnically and culturally the same? The Irish are predominantly Catholic, and the Scottish are predominantly Protestant? Correct? The Irish are anti-British, and the Scottish are pro-British? Also, do the Irish wear that traditional Scottish Kilt and play from their bag pipe or whatever you call it?

much like the thais and lao peoples. related. lot of the same history. both celtic. culturte is very similar....for example kilts originated in irleand and bag pipes came for the irish ilen pipes.
but nowadays the irish leave it to the scottish to wear dresses and play bad music
the scottish are divided much like nothern irleand into local celtic groups and brithish immigrants (former slave drivers)
scotland like nothern irlenad is divided in this way.....but there is much less violence in scotland becuase of it.

I remember hearing a Scottish guy saying that the Irish weren't good enough against the British, unlike the Scottish who had William Wallace who taught the British a lesson. Is there any bitter history between the Irish and Scottish?

Yeah, in Laos everybody likes to get high. A way waay long time ago there was a legend of this extrodinary weed that they grew, it says that if you smoke that stuff it will make you grow 3 elephant heads, elephant ears and trunks making you feel strengh and you feeling invicible. The weed was then confiscated by the french and was never heard of again. The legendary stories of the 3 headed Elephant weed still exists. The laotians (people of peace) loved the weed so much we put it on our flags.

either that or the elephant represented strength, respect, pride, family etc and there are alot of elephants that roam Laos.

I don't give a damn if I make sense or not, but haters steal our elephant and say its theirs, that's why I'm coming with vengeance like Tony Jaa in "Tom Yum Goong" to claim whats mine. You can steal our elephant. You can steal our identity, but you can't steal this Lao pride tatted on his back. You think I'm wack, it don't mean jack, cause it's a matter of facts.

The Tattoo covering the back, like somebody said, is cheap. There's no detail in it whatsoever just quantity. And the fact that it's all smudged looking. But the other 1 not done by a friend can easily be $3,000 or more. Some of these guys have about $10,000 worth on their bodies. I love tattoos and have it done professionally. I have well over $20,000 worth on my body covering about 40%.

Interesting tats pimpraja - alot of them are nice but some are .. straight up weird. Have you got any traditional tattoos from Laos that are on the leg?
I always thought getting traditional S.E.A tattoos were hectic till I saw these a few years ago. Check out the legs .. Lome Fa'atau is the guy in the picture, he plays rugby for Samoa and Wellington Hurricanes.

Its a traditional Samoan tattoo.
---------------
"It's all about the history of Samoa and the patterns reflect my family history."
Fa'atau said that three people worked for nine days to get the complete artwork done.
"Each session was about six to eight hours a day and, at times it was painful, because it was done the traditional way, using a shark's tooth, needles, a chisel and a drumstick to tap away.
"Three guys normally do it. Two wipe and stretch the skin and the other guy does the tapping and tattooing.
"The tattoo starts just below my knee cap and goes halfway up my back," said Fa'atau.
