He looks like some sort of guard.

If he's famous I'm guessing it could be one of the Sikh guards who killed Indira Gandhi (Thank god they did, those Sikhs are hero's).

um...how are they heroes?

Indira Gandhi maybe a witch, but the way they went about, clearly didn't help the situation. They are not heroes........

Because they killed the prostitute. Every Gandhi in Indian history has been bad. Indira was a witch. Sonia Manio Gandhi is a bastard. And even Gandhi himself had some major flaws which have come back to hurt us. Though Gandhi is decent.

Indira was being a jerk to Sikhs and deserved to be killed. It's not like she was good anyways. Yes the Khalistan Movement was a bad move by Sikhs, but she caused many of them to be punished for it.

You know, most Sikhs in Indian didn't even support Khalistan? It was just a few freaks who were getting aid from Papistan and Canada.

The Sikhs who gave up their lives helped improve India as Indira was trash.

And I'm saying this as an extremist-style of Hindu. Hindu's and Sikhs both clashes after this act, yet I still support the Sikhs in taking her off Indian rule.

It doesn't matter. Terrorists are terrorists, regardless of their motive. They killed a PM and for that, they will never be good in my book.

Many sikhs had to suffer bcoz of their stupid actions.

I know khalistan is dead in india, but loads of sikhs up in canada are loaded into it.

I agree with your one point on Sikhs suffering. But Hindu's (Not myself) weren't treating them well once the militants went into the Golden Temple.

As I've said in other threads, most Indians living outside of India, especially in the West are crazy. Probably due to all the wealth they have.

Maybe the guards are not hero's, but I don't blame them for killing her.

When ppl are in a foreign country, they have extreme identity crisis. The very ppl who were uber-liberal in india develop uber strong cultural affinity. That is why u have so many crazy indians in US. From my observations, ppl in india are more liberal (atleast from my economic group) than ppl in US.

At first, looking at the desis here i thought these guys live in 60's(indian 60's/70's). Since they have lost touch with indian culture, they develop uber indianness. You should spend some time with ABCD parents, they are all kookoos! Its like going back in time machine!

ABCD parents ARE MORE CONSERVATIVE than just immigrated Indian Parents. All ABCD parents live in that 60's 70's shell or whatever time period they came from. It is one of the most funniest things to watch. All indians act exactly in accordance to the time period they came to US, and they impose those very same values on their children. So, when u look at desis here, u r watching live history!

Operation Blue Star was conducted by a Sikh (General Brar). That's why it was done with such precison and tact. Indira Gandhi didn't do anything other than give General Brar the O.K. to flush that terrorist Jernail Bhinderwale and his followers out of the Golden Temple Complex.

I read that General Brar(or whatever his name was) has one of the most biggest securities. His article came up a couple months ago on BBC i think.

I hear "American Indians" are paranoid about education. It's huge here, but in the USA they take it to a new level.

Thanks for answering my question. embarassedlaugh.gif Yeah, I was also under the impression that Indians are more liberal in Delhi, Mumbai and even Allahabad (UP)! Allahabad boys are so friendly, and boys over here look like they're about to strangle you. sure.gif

Now these days, not even a bachelor's degree is good enough.

Since I'm doing a doctorate (not a Ph.D, but a Psy.D), my mom is now expecting me to find someone with an equivalent degree or higher. sure.gif

There are bachelor-level degree jobs that make way more money than my future profession. Higher degrees don't always mean more money. Counselors and social workers with masters degree make around $35,000 a year!

I'm going to be a psychologist, and I think the starting pay isn't that high at all. You have to work your way up, but it doesn't pay anywhere near medical doctors and psychiatrists.
