i was wondering, is the naga coming down from the apsara's ear accurate, is the crown itself accurate? which apsara did the artisans copy from?

the ancient versions have no naga, or the one i have seen.

is this why the thai version is diffrent?

Go get that picture of Bopha Devi in the apsara costume, you can see that version is more 'accurate' or rather, more closer in resemblance to that bas-relief.

i think the thai apsara crown i saw siri post was more like the bas-relief, just the crown, not the entire thing.

It's amazing how they can dance so gracefully with so much weight on their heads. I've never heard of an apsara dancer tipping over before. XD

wait, braking news, i was really wondering if so, so i asked my parents, and it turns out that they were modeled accurately the nwewer ones, but its that the meta crowns bend when they wear it because its not as strong as the one used for manora crowns.
aiyana
Does anyone know where i can buy the crowns from. I have one but it was a gift and i want to buy another one. can anyone help
applepannic
I justed realize all of the apsara costume look the same. Can't that make it a little different like regular costumes? Aiyana, you can buy it from Khmer silk, but is ver expensive. www.ksilks.com

If you just want an exotic present, I recommend you look for Balinese crowns instead. They're much cheaper and are usually more colorful.
