Share your cooking tips! biggthumpup.gif

Let me start first, I will give some tips from my own experience:

Before adding spagetti, give the bunch of spagetti a twist, then let go as you put the bunch into the pot. If the pot has round edge, the spagetti will spread out evenly in circular shape.

When cooking spagetti, adding a bit of salt can prevent the spagetti from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

I will share more next time.

If you are using a NON non-stick wok/pan/pot to cook, add more oil before you start cooking in order to prevent the food from sticking onto the surface. If possible, COAT (not fill) the lower half of the wok/pan/pot with oil.

To jazz up your plain rice - Try squeezing some natural orange juice onto your rice. Preferably the sweet type. Just for some added flavour. icon_wink.gif

Have you ever tried fried egg with honey? I love this combination. love2.gif

1. never leave you pan, i don't care if heating oil for deep frying can take a while, I almost burned down my parents house once

2. You can use natural oils from meat if you want to stir fry. What you can do is put the meat with a little water in the pan and let it simmer, not only does it take less oil it also cook the meat.

3. Don't over cook veggies. One way to do that is you can simmer it seperately and then adding it in the last minute.

4. To thaw meat faster, cut it up and let it sit on water.

If you're gonna cook chicken breasts in a frying pan, cut them lengthwise first. It allows them to cook faster and more efficiently.

When You cook meat.. marinate it in 24 hours..it is more delicious because the flovir soak in the meat.

In order to preserve meat longer, you can cook it in boiling water first then apply salt to the surface of it.

I don't know too much about cooking, but I know a bit about kitchenware. If you have non-stick cookware, do not use it on high heat to cook, you are allowed to turn it on high to heat up the pan but once it's hot enough turn it down to medium or low. Companies don't cover cookware if you have abused it nono.gif

Also do not use stainless steel on non-stick, use nylon or silicone instead.

1. Use NATURAL ORANGE JUICE.

2. Do not put in large quantities, like a soup liddat. Just several drops.

3. Obviously you've not tried it. Tch tch tch. nono.gif

I find mixing crushed garlic and shallots, then stir fry them in pans with soy sauce are in general very good for whatever you're trying to cook. biggthumpup.gif It's almost like, you can't go wrong with stir fried mixture of garlic, shallots and soy sauce. biggthumpup.gif
