I think it's probable that a lot of the mixes shown are part Chinese or part Baliness/non-Muslim native. In Indonesia you can NOT tell someone religion from the name! I am malay from Riau Sumatra and my name there is no arab related on it. Muslim from Sumatra around 50% will give like international name (western name/india/arab/spanish) to their son.

Javanese they have their own name there is none related with any religion in their word, just their own name.

Sundanese also mostly they have their own name eventhough not as specific like Javanese.

Balinese they have their own name.

In fact in Indonesia, we know from which island their from just by looking at his name, if not we can see from clan(fam) name; batak, mandailing, gayo etc. West sumatran & Riau mainland do not put clan name is his legal name but they always carry with him. if somebody asking him he just mentioned it and the other party will know which part of area he is coming from.

In Riau archipelago there are a lot chinese, them use name like these: Hasan, Husin, Ali, Wijaya, Mustika etc.

Muhammad Bob Hasan = (i don't know his religion), he is very rich person

I wonder why religon is so important to identify the person that it needs to be put on the KTP, i mean whats the purpose. Is it incase someone dies and in some weird instance they cant find the persons relatives they bury then according to religon ?
