I can draw pretty good as for a illustrator or designer although i have no scanner to put my drawings up but i'll take pics if anyone wants to see. Mostly of anime characters/robots/vehicles/aircrafts and plenty.

what do u mean like copy other anime drawing or comming up with ur own, because im not surprise if u copy. beside i dont draw other anime anymore. the first anime i draw was dragon ball and that was it then after that i just draw whatever came to mind. i come up with my own but then youll find out later that it better to create you own style of drawing and that what i been doing for one year now. i still draw anime to because im still a big fan of anime. just making sure if i dont make it into the world of manga i still got another drawing style ready.

I think that is the best way. You need to know the basics and build a foundation before you learn only anime. I personally like realism and love Rennasiance art (especially Rembrandt or Vermeer). Then you can apply your knowledge towards anime and that would be cool. Sometimes drawing anime leads into art though so that's good. But if you start with drawing just anime....you draw more lines rather than proportional figures.

Yep, it's essential to study human anatomy just to get all the pose and proportions of the characters right.
Life drawing is the best way to start.

whats the point? You're just gonna end up warping the whole proportin anyways if you start getting into anime after.

Anime is a type/style of drawing. You always have to know the basics and have solid fundamentals. People who can get good at drawing just anime only draw anime but too many times I see them struggle with realism. If you understand the basics, you can draw realism AND anime.

Wow! That's a really nice one, Bhaskara! I love the patterns on the clothes too. The face and body are great, there's a good sense of proportion, but you could improve on the hands and add more details on the feet. Overall, I would give you an 8.5.
