is the country very modernize ? or does it have mostly modern parts and little undeveloped part ?

jup.. west part of turkey(istanbul) became very modern.

other parts are not so developmend. east turkey is a ethnical war area. (kurds and other ethnics)

bosporus is very nice for crazy parties. someone say that istanbul becames like lasvegas in 70'ens but just without casinos..

danochka you are such an idiot man. that politician is not an ordinary man. he is Great Mustafa Kemal ATATURK. then i havent seen any women like that eastern anatolian women tagged pic. it is fust a little ok for kurds. but generally kurds dont wear that colored things. they are ofcourse not turks. it may be from a different country.

generally, bad class restaurant owners are kurds

. i cant eat anything at streets not to eat such a bad thing that a kurd handed it. and that döner seller is probably kurd. anyway, it is the worst döner i have ever seen

Mount Ararat, Turkey

Ever since we had now crossed the border into Turkey, Mount Ararat had dominated the view to the north of the road. But it had often been obscured by cloud adn this was the first opportunity to take a clear photograph.

Mount Ararat is associated with the Biblical story of Noah and his Ark. Some individuals maintain that traces of the Ark exist to this day on Mount Ararat. Without wanting to enter into that particular controversy - where reason will always lose out to belief - the thing that struck me was that compared to the Himalayas or the Rockies or even the Alps, Mount Ararat is very small beer.

btw. mountain ararat is a holly mountain for armenians..

West part of Turkey is East-Europe. Middle and East Part of Turkey is West Asia.

I love those public baths. They're quite nice. A lot of those in most of Asian countries too. Everybody is comfortable with his or her own body.

These women from the bath picture look very plump and feminine. That was the look then, the look now is stick skinny and fake boobs. LOL.

I hear the news Turkey is in negations to join the European good ol boys club, but from what I hear from Turkish Americans that majority of commoners in Turkey don't want to be apart of the EU.

ohh.. it is very complexe problem.

Turkey wnats to be accepted by European Union. But it dont wants became european country with european mentality. People do wants only positive things form EU.

at moment noone wants Turkey into EU.

EU wants more Reforms and positive sgns from Turkey and Turkey wants more european Money and indepence from European politics.
(turkish goverment see his future on a side of EU but not inner EU. something like Norway and EU Partnership..)

I think that a Future is a "privileged partnership" between Turkey and EU.

i just came back from Turkey, really is wonderful, i didn't want back 4 chile, the turkish people are very lovely, really i miss turkey

very nice pictures! they allow you to take pictures in mosques? usually the elders dislike it if you take pictures in mosques I think. tourist-y and annoying ehehe.
