This might be touchy for some people, but is there a specific reason why some Pakis detest non-Punjabis and non-Kashmiris?
It's understood if they would hate Indians in general, but why are there more derogatory comments directed towards the Indians below Punjab/Haryana, especially Southerners and Gujaratis? I also wonder why the comments always have to be appearance-related?

I grew up in a place that was inhabited by majority of hindu gujarati and pakistani muslims. As you can imagine, it wasn't always the friendliest environment (especially at school as at lunchtimes and stuff it'd sometimes result in huge gang-like fights). I was the only hindu that seemed to be willing to be friends with some of the muslims.
The reason why I asked is because this is probably the nicest South Asian forum I'm on. 
Places like RateDesi and Jattword.com will just erupt into nasty fights. 
But like with that other Pathan guy I was talking to, I don't understand the fascination of trying to prove that your average Indian is a hideous aboriginal and your average Pakistani is a Nordic goddess?

hmm, I'm glad I've never bothered going on any other South Asian forum then. Actually, initially I came here without any intention of posting, guess that changed.
I hate when people discriminate against others, acting as if they're superior. I believe all people, regardless of where they're from are equal and there is a balance within the world of positives and negatives (i.e. all countries have good people and bad people, the average is always a balance between the two).
I just hope you didn't end up seeing (and risked getting involved in) the number of fights as I did, its just not pleasant. What kind of stereotypes would they say?
