From my experience, whites just get shocked at Indian girls who dress sexy. I've heard white people say, "That's so weird. Why isn't that Indian girl covered up like the other Indian girls?" Yeah that's my point. It's not like I care or feel insulted to be called Northern, but it's just it's not right, Gujaratis are from the West.

According to My dictionary, Maharashtra & Goa are West. Orrisa & W. Bengal is East. Bihar is North even though I think someone said Indian Govt classifies it as East. It doesn't matter, Bihar has too much in common with UP.

Its a decorative tatto (at least for her) but i believe i have seen such tattos on lambadis or marwadis.

there is no fu-king east - west division, just north-south.
South= Karnataka, Andhra,Kerala, TamNad
North= everything else

No fair! The North already has 10 states to itself. The West and East only have 3 states each.

Bihar was historically part of Eastern India and Gujarat was historically part of Western India, that's why the Indian government classifies it in that way.

Its not about being fair. Indian Gov't says dowry is illegal but ppl still follow it. Just becoz gov't says it it doesn't mean that's what it means. Bihar is north indian doesn't matter what indian gov't says. Biharis are northies. Bengalies are Easties, no one is claiming them to be northies!

What's funny though is that most of the Biharis in America (or at least where I live) probably have no idea that they're not considered North Indian.

They may be more culturally Northern these days but they are historically Eastern, so there is a conflict there. Now that I think about it, what exactly is the difference between Northern, Western and Eastern cultures? All I know is that Northerners are barbarians, Westerners are cheap-skates, and Easterners are fish-mongers.
