do you think that the government should encourage or require all of its people to wear ao dai at least once a yr on tet? i think this would make the country look beautiful to vietnamese and tourist a like. id love to this

@Socal: yea, they do have ao dai for male. but female ao dai looks better.

Ao dai eh. I owe 4 ao dais, but I only wore them twice. Trust me, it wasn't comfortable at all. Plus, I felt so naked in them because of the silky fabric pressed against my body.

during tet, vietnamese students at my highschool wore those to represent ... the guys didnt though.. and i think my friend told me they call that ayaiy (for the girls's dress).. enlighten me if im wrong..

if i can add, the guy in orange has his ao dai up to his shins add more of the 'cham' appearance .. yet that's cool ..
i wonder why guys dont like wearing that during tet when you see the yuon girls go all out in those clothes

Yes, they SHOULD wear it but not forced. I just hope that even though they are not forced to wear the Ao Dai, they would use good judgement and wear it because they are freaking sexy in the Ao Dai dresses! Especially NHU QUYNH!!!!
