Seems the main Visayan Islands will all be connected by bridges. In future ppl. will be able to travel from one end of PHI. to the other by car.

Finally, I was wondering when it was going to happen. A good move.

There was a project before of Marcos that he would connect Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao via bridges but it didn't materialize but if he were still alive and well, he might have done it. Mega bridges that materialized during the Marcos regime is the San Juanico Bridge that was able to connect Samar and Leyte islands and it was the longest bridge in asia during that time.

Another mega project of Marcos is the land reclamation where he was able to extend the Manila land using soil, rocks and cement and it was even imitated by Japan, Hong Kong, etc...

Nothing risky about them... they're actually quite cool. I like going to the top of the ferry boat and just watch the sea and enjoy the breeze.

um...... i think no,

yearly tropical monsoon season will flood it
to much squatters will be living there
vendors will flock the stations
More expensive than above the surface trains

if they can manage to control the above situations, i say go for it biggthumpup.gif
