First of all I have to ask for is Your knowledge 'bout Europe itself.
I know a lot of people from US, Australia that are completely blind and see only their own country.
Ok, You can be a patriot but patriotism and egoism are not the same. There are other nations on
this globe and it's just no good when someone don't have even a simple look on placing of some countries.
What do You think about it? What do You know about Europe for example? Did You ever think about a life
that exist there? Do You want to know someone from there?

I have been to some nations there. I think it's a great place very modern and socially liberal, and some ways I like it better than North America and Asia. I do wonder sometimes about how people live there lives in Europe, and why pragmatism is so popular there. I wonder why many nations won't stand up to neo-Nazis and militant islamists. I wonder what the European dream is. What do you people strive for at the end of the day? I know some Slovenians and French already, but knowing more people doesn't hurt.

There are a lot of people on here that are from Europe including myself. It's hard to make a generalisation because each country is very different.

Belgian perspective about their neighbours:

Belgians say that UK people think they are somewhat special and they dont want to include themselfs with other "europeans" I think thats somewhat true. French are mainly chauvenistic, Dutch are cheeseheads (kaaskoppen! haha sorry a dom belgisch grap), Germans are still called as "mof/moffen" by Belgians wich is a nickname invented during WWII

in general west and central europeans are very similar. ofcourse there are major differences, they are different people for crying out loud!

however hundreds of years of wars and alliances and then the EU has forged the europeans together for a greater good!

Let's just add here that there are a lot of jokes about dumb Belgians, they even began to tell the same ones about Dutchmen...
No, I like Belgians, I dislike French for their language, I've nothing against Germans, I just hope they'll leave us out again in the next world war...

What the European dream is? I don't think we have one. Europeans really like to be divided. Some think everyone should be patriotic, others are in love with America, some people are open to other cultures, some people blame all their problems on foreigners, using their worst Dutch to explain that the foreigners don't speak the language, very convincing . Most of us like money, but most of us also tell eachother that happyness counts, and you can't buy it. I don't think most people even have a real dream, they just live their life, and they don't expect it to be more than that. Of course any European is free to say he sees it totally different, and we're back at the divided statement.

My overall general views of Europe are that they are liberal, kind, and proper. Their lifestyle are more laid-back and slow paced. I have never been there but I would love to visit France, Italy, and Greece.

most of the asian friends i have/know (ones from asia and not ones brought up/born here) seem to have a thing for germany (people are nice/v friendly. clean, modern), alot do not seem to like the british (or french) very much on the basis that the british are cold, hide their emotions and are somewhat arrogant whilst the french are just rude.

. they're just views from a few people (thais and koreans - foreign students here). most of the people within my family (thai side) have either been here or worked/studied with people from europe and do not claim to have any problem with "europeans" in general.
