You would see alot of VietNam architecture that have dragon imaged as inlaid or encraved on the structure. That wasn't influenced by the Chinese. VietNam had dragon in their culture long time ago. The Chinese originally had the "white tiger" as their symbol then they or more speically their ancient kings switched to "dragon" as a symbol of power.
I prefer Ly to Later Le architecture. Nguyen architecture is horrible

It is in the North, i dont know exactly where it is, but it is named "Chùa Keo"
I guess it is old. Hope it doesnt collapse soon.

The masonry wall is bad quality. The yellow roof looks ok though. Instead of using woods or stones or concretes, they use bricks (so cheap
). It is supposed to be a palace.

because vietnam's tropical country, plus they have money to preserve old buildings while we don't

yeh i think we were really stupid to fight each other
i hope those old buildings can still be preserved to be beautiful like those of Japanese/chinese. I hope it is not too late.

We were never gonna fight eachother in the first place if it wasn't for Ngo Dinh Diem.
But I agree, we should put in a little money to restore some of these buildings.
yeh, the Geneva record said we would have an election to reunite our country. but that damn Ngo Dinh Diem stopped it from happenning. War broke out.
