I like a mixture of things.

As far as grunge is concerned, I like Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come as You Are". Other than that I don't care much for grunge, even though I live in Seattle (home of the grunge movement).

I primarily listen to R&B as well as the occasional rap.

Haha....actually, a lot of my R&B music is exactly that type. I even have a record player to top it all off......

I wore a lot of black during my junior year, but that doesn't mean anything. Goth kids told me I looked too trendy anway to be goth.


My friend got called a goth just because she wore black eyeliner. Preppy kids are stupid.

I dunno, most white girls were pretty friendly in high school. In college they are a bit more cold, but in high school white girls just wanted to have fun.

Yes. These kids were sheltered from the real world. They didn't know what exactly a hardcore goth looks like.


You also had the Pakistanis who claimed to be ghetto thugs, but then would pray, fast and have their parents buy everything for them. They also wouldn't date, yet they considered themselves so "hardcore."

This is a good example of what my perception of "looking goth" is. I know the look can vary from mild to extreme, but this is my mainstream definition.

Yes. I hate to say it, but there's some Hindu/Muslim tension here. Funny how I've never had any Hindu boys that were mean to me.

Yes, I am a devout Hindu....but that's not why I avoid drinking (since Hinduism doesn't forbid drinking).

He claimed his dad was directly from Afghanistan, but his dad looks South Indian and speaks Urdu very well. I'm not sure if he's one of those Pakistanis that pretends to be half-Afghan or half-Arab, or if he's telling the truth.
