Like it or not Gandhiji was one of the greatest human beings to walk on this earth in modern times. He took the non-violence stuff a lil to the extreme but using mass peaceful civil disobediance to fight colonialism and oppression displayed during the Indian Independece Movement was the one of the defining moments of human history. It's right up there with a friggin man walking on the moon or the American Revolution.
