CHOBITS! Definetely Chobits!
I love androids, and such.. just love em!
I also like MahoroMatic, wich kind of has a story like tekkaman, but totally different...........and no evil twin either.........actually, it's not like it at all except for the space fights 'n stuff..... ah heck with it.

no, it's coz my friend made me a Noir fan so that's why i particularly want to see Noir on the big screen. i've heard of the other animes, but i don't know much about them.

:deal: Animes are Animated cartoon from Japan; some cartoon studio in Japan now make their anime in other countries like Korea,China,Singapore,HK and the Philippines because Its way much cheaper to make in those countries than in Japan ( ex. like labour, manpower, materials) Then, re-exported to Japan for final editing, dubbing or finishing touches. In a way Japanese anime had really made an impact to those countries. In an AXN sponsored "draw your anime"( Just make your own cartoon) Most of the winners comes from the Philippines,HK and Singapore. Nipponggo, (Japan National Language) is so hot in that country that it is now the Fifth internationally spoken language after Pilipino(National language of the Philippines),English,Chinese,Spanish. Filipinos( people of that country) are going crazy with anime or related stuffs.
Kaylden
Really, I wouldn't want to see any anime as a real movie.
Ek-ek
 But why? could you explain to me why you did not like it. Walt Disney's "Peter Pan" had a movie version.
SiLvErStArDuSt
i'd wanna see mononoke-hime or spirited away as a movie movie. i mean, they ARE movies, but it'd be cool to see real people act them out. lol, and there's this one part in mononoke-hime where a$hitaka crosses a river in a loincloth too! LOL, when we watched it, we rewinded and watched that part like ten times...heh...

yea, i'd wanna see ranma as a movie too. it'd be cool to see how they show the changes and all. ha! poor guy that plays ranma tho, gets glomped by violent amazons, gettin hit by violent tomboys, sparring with a panda...yeah...
Kaylden
Anime is way more complex than Peter Pan.
SiLvErStArDuSt
well, it depends on the anime. if you do something with any of the gundum series, it'll be a lot more complex than peter pan because of all the mechas. and then there's animes like CCS, inuyasha, peach girls, saint tail, or RG utena, i don't think those would be too hard to do.
Ek-ek
:heh: What's the use of computer if they could not make the anime into a film? They have the technology and the systems to produced one great film
Kaylden
Once I thought about it I would want to see Sailor Moon as a actual movie!!
EddymyTeddy
Sailor Moon! or Bey Blades, and I can play Tyson's Girlfriend. Bey blades are awesome
pOkGuY
beyblades? then the spinning would be $#!TtY or they gonna use cpu graphics which look hella fake
sHoRti_bEbi
at least if there was a beyblade movie it wud be betta than the dubbed american version of the show.. actualli nEthing wud be betta than that
EddymyTeddy
Did i mention Tyson doesn't even have a girlfriend? Well the spinning's gay when you have a tiny ripper but I bought this little boy I babysit a huge ripper the size of his armstretch and he used it against his friend in a battle and it knocked his friend's beyblade off the stadium because it was sooo powerful! it goes on and on forever, five minutes at least!
sHoRti_bEbi
woaHh i didnt even know those toy beyblades even worked.. i thought they last like 10 sec or sumthing!!
EddymyTeddy
well five minutes is a stretch......lol but they do last a while depending on the size of the ripper, and how fast the person pulls it. The only difference is from the cartoon to the real thing is that they don't go all sorts of places they only stay in one area unless something knocks it. you should try it! Bey Blades aren't expensive anymore, you can find some for $3.00 now! great eh?
sHoRti_bEbi
but u onli find lil kids playin with beyblades n stuff these days
MaChao
I Reckon they should make some Marvel Comic Heroes Manga Style! that would be so cool.
I would love to see them do a stormriders manga as well i think the swords would look so cool with the magic attacks and stuff
EddymyTeddy
s'alll good, you can just do it for fun, if you have change to burn that is
Azenki
I would like to see Berserk!! I'd like to see someone handle a sword that big though....

I've seen a few conversions of anime into movies (Dragonball, Wicked City etc) and they reminded me instantaneously why anime is anime. If it isn't done right the movie will feel absurd. The Matrix is a good example of anime coverted succesful to real life action film.

I've read some rumours of a Akira and a Cowboy Beebop coversion into real films. Akira is to holy to be touched and Cowboy Beebop is certainly going to be absurd.

With special effects being what it is, I think that Evangalion, Gundam, Robotech would be great real film candidates. But they should not be all Japanese projects only, I don't want to remind people of The Returner, which was half bad half good. But special effects isn't everything, Final Fantasy: The spirits within reminds us that a good story is necessary.

But even after seeing a bad real-film version of Dragonball I would still like to see a new version of Dragonball. I think it could be one real cool rollercoaster ride.

Heir to my Empire
Ek-ek
:heh: Yes, Gundam would be nice,I also like Beyblade and Voltes V. Lets Volt In!!!
EddymyTeddy
i was watching the news yesterday and there was a real bey blades championship in Canada. And the winners get to travel all over Canada and compete! the contestants are ages like 5-14 i think. aw dammit im too old!
Ek-ek
:heh: i have also posted a topic about beyblade here some months ago. Just looked for it. Anyway i don't think that you are that old to start a beyblade challenge.
EddymyTeddy
yeah but you can't enter the official competitions and contests! icon_sad.gif
Ek-ek
 Never mind the competitions. The importance is you enjoy the game!
pOkGuY
do you think they allow my metal beyblades they got sharp blades tho
Ek-ek
 I don't know about there in US or Canada?
EddymyTeddy
ive got my back cut by beyblades! I was lying down on my cousin's bed and he ripped a beyblade and it took a turn in the crease of the blanket abd cut right into my back. LOL. they're sharp as hell! all bey blades have metal but not shrarpened blades!
Ek-ek
:nono: It is quite dangerous to play these beyblade especially those which have sharp edges . Some people have been hurt by these sharp edges. :deal:
EddymyTeddy
you shouldn't touch one that's still spinning and somethimes they go flying in the little stadium and hit you in the face!!

i can see them adding special effects for the movie!
Iron Chef Oi
Gundam has already been made into a live action movie. Anyone seen G-Savior? Some animes have been made into live movies. I remember seeing the Guyver, and a few others which I can't remember right now.

I personally would like to see Gunsmith Cats or Dirty Pair made into action movies. All the guns and explosions would do well with the American scene.

Not an anime, but a good movie and the influence to the Matrix series, is Dark City.

You ever notice how much anime comes out and how much the stuff costs now that white kids like it? I mean, come on, its outrageous. They couldn't give away Gundam stuff not that long ago, and now the toys are selling for outrageous prices. Even comics have gone the way to imitate the anime look.
EddymyTeddy
real movies based on anime would be hard, expensive and time consuming considering all the special effects they require.

They did G-Saviour with a lot of cheesy old CG (computer graphics). It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great, either.
EddymyTeddy
Ultraman Tiga, a T.V show on foxbox should be an anime. . .it has really bad special FX.
Ek-ek
confused.gif Do you want it to be anime type?
Iron Chef Oi
All that costumed buffoonery have terrible effects and graphics. Its trademarked. Look at all the stock footage they use in those shows too, and even in the monster movies like Godzilla and Gamera (I hate him. Any giant turtle that spins around and propels himself about with fiery blasts from his @$$ end is stupid. Nevermind that hes the protector of children and defender of Earth (stole Voltron's job), he's still stupid and need help to beat up other monsters. Wuss.)
