Not to mention nuclear Japan.

Lets not bring china into this this is a north korean issue and no one else's. Your only going to cause members in here to start bad mouthing us for once again trying to make china the point of discussion here when it shouldn't be. On the other hand this latest development does worry me. They re not doing themselves any favours by carrying out these tests. If they continue down this road it could ultimately lead to there destruction and cause further suffering for the north koreans.

The North is just looking for more attention. I agree with China and Russia. Ignore them. They probably don't even have the capability yet.
Man, Korea lacks room for a nuke test. The radiation will hurt the county very much, and could hurt a neighboring country if done near the border. Also, if this provokes Japan to make nukes, this will certainly lead to greater arms race between Japan and China.

My family and I all dwell in Liaoning Province now, not far way from Yalu Rever, the nuclear waste and radiations would contaminate us. What can we do? Make a move to west China? cars can be drived away, houses could be sold, but the business is settled!
His missils might could not reach the USA, but doubtlessly, it could cover NE China and Beijing, hundreds cities are under the range of the rogue's nuclear sticks, he will blackmail us for more oil, rice, money...... if we say"no", ok, he would perform more like a robber + b!tch

Not when Bush is the president. The neocons have always vilified China, and they have made their hostile intention loud and clear. They're not called "warhawks" for no reason.
If the US have someone like Clinton as the president right now, China will be more willing to work with the US.

No, there isn't. We could always go crazy and threaten Pyoung Yang with some hundred cruise missiles filled with thermobaric warheads though, which might equal the destructive power of a North Korean-produced nuke.
It's not like there isn't a technological and military responses to North Korean nuke. If we try hard enough, any advantages North Korea has militarily with a nuclear weapon can be negated. The problem is with political and public opinions. Nuclear weapon tends to be a very good political tool.

But, man, do u calculate how many population and wealth of Pyoung Yang (平壤) and how much of Soul (汉城)?
The north has extremely awful artillery, they have more than 10,000 gunneries arranged near DMZ. And these gods of war could ruin whole Soul which concentrates with almost 70% wealth and 50% population of ROK.
U know, benefit from the secure treaty of DPRK and China, King Joh li site 90% troops and more than 70% technological weapons near ROK, but posit most equipments and establishments beside China. So, the easiest route to demilitarize maniac King Joh li is from north to south. There is a hearsay in Chinese internet: The King inquired China's attitude on whether stand up by his nuke test during in Beijng. Of course, the answer was "no". Unfortunately, he ignores our dissuasion and acts like a spoiled kid, why we need to fulfil the damned co-defence treaty? Maybe, the PLA is mulling a feasibility of striding Yalu Rever (鸭绿江) over again, but as a portion of UNSF.

Koguryo has nothing to do with you Chinese. fu-k off. Chinese have some fantasy Koguryo is related to Manchu history, so they want part of action. You don't give a $hit about Koguryo except its geography. It's the same usual characters arguing for Koguryo-- people arguing about Koguryo are the same bozo-Manchu wannabes I encounter on the Mongolian chat.
North Korean is not Chinese. It is as Korean and you can get. For thousands of years Korea was one united country with Pyongyang as its capital. The idea of South Korea is a pure fabrication--only 50 years old. You can even say from this that North Koreans are the true Koreans, since Pyongyang has been the center of Korean culture, government and commerce for thousands of years.
