Hey is there a program which can split MP3's? Like, the words, then the bass etc etc.
Someone told me you can do this since MP3's are just layers.. if that makes sense. thanks.

um... whoever told you that has the wrong idea
I think you might be able to cut out a designated "range" of the audio where most of the vocals fall into. But if you want to completely separate the singing from the music, I'd imagine you'd need much more advanced software to do so.

not much knowledge in playing around with sounds and editing them,
lol What you mean? splitting sure we can split mp3,easily, like splitting by section,time,size.... breaking up live songs ++

Usually when the track is made, it's like that, they add up all the layers and then dump them together. Unless you have the original file, but I dun think you have that.

yes, there are many music editing software...example: editing the original vocals and replacing it with yours...

do u mean like cutting them to make the songs shorter i always just use windows movie maker and cut it there but after u make the song its turns into a wma file so i convert it back to mp3
