Full Version: India Weddings: Question About "favors"

I know this is pretty specialized kind of question, but this seemed like the place to ask.

It's a growing custom in American weddings for the bridal couple to give "favors" to all the guests: little trinkets that symbolize appreciation for the guests having attended.

I'm not sure this is a custom in the true Indian wedding, but as usual it does seem to be the custom in a fusion, Indian-"flavored" American wedding. Has anyone seen Indian-"flavored" favors handed out at a wedding? What kinds have you seen?

Good question

I had favors in many Pakistani weddings I went to, not Indian weddings. Dunno why.
