My take on this whole issue is that people are people and people choose who or what they want to be. But in reality you cant deny where your coming from, because it will always be with you.

Im jamaican/Chinese, my skin tone is darker and my hair is almost like that of Indian. Even though my family forgot most of the chinese heritage, I still practice what i'v learnt of it... It dosnt make me Chinese but at least it makes me appreciate it.

First off, not all mixed people look beautiful or "come out looking like super models."
Unfortunately, the truth is an asian that marries a negro is usually of lower class. That is just a predominant fact and has nothing to do with going with understanding humanity. Because most african americans are very fixed in their culture and identity no matter what curiosity they have. And if you really respect who you are and your culture you are not really going to be attracted to someone like this unless you are more of a simple person. There are some african americans who truly respect other cultures and races but I've rarely met them and if there are, they are of the younger, more innocent variety. Most males interested in asian females i've met, especially older males just have some fetish about them, they think their children are going to have straighter hair, lighter skin etc. Thats not altruistic motivations. Um amerie, is an exception as far as her parents and in my opinion as far as her looks her face is not very attractive at all. Asian and negro are very extreme genes when mixed. I've seen mulattoes with asian mixed and their children come out with softer looking features but not many.

Yes, they know their offspring will more likely look the least asian as negro genes are more dominant, darker coloring but with straighter hair, lighter skin. You see so many african-american women buying asian hair. I'm not saying that the women have this motivation but I think most of the men who are attracted to asian women have some of this in their attraction. I think in many instances its a form of race exploitation for the benefit of their own kind. Some simpletons would say I was crazy but the fact is many people are this primally motivated. You have to understand that both whites and blacks have the most dominant genes in the big picture. Asian genes are lost easily when mixed with either white and black. White genes are recessive when mixed with black. Asian genes are recessive when mixed with either. I think things would be much different if it was the other way around, the true or not would come out of the wood works so to speak and change up to seek and be attracted to 'other' kinds if you will.

I heard from a friend who knows someone who went to school with Naomi that she was not exactly promoting her Chinese side growing up. Infact no one in school knew about her Chinese ancestry given how she herself used to make racist remarks against Chinese students. Then all of a sudden it became trendy to promote one's exoticness in the business so to speak, and voila! When actually no ones really sure just how much Chinese she even has.

Besides, notice most African Americans are mixed with Whites, yet they are still regarded as Blacks rather than mixed. I heard it's commonly regarded that even a little black colored mixed with White will never be white again as black predominates. I think that goes the same with Blacks and Asians, hence they are still regarded as Blacks in society and not Blasians, ie Tyson Beckford whose a halfie.

Thats a good example of a form of race exploitation. I was wary of posting it because it seems most of the people on this forum are probably younger and not as life experienced and would flatly call me racist or something. But its true that many people will take the benefit of being mixed with something only to turn around and pretend it has nothing to do with that race and even oppress it. some white halfies for example will turn around and look down on the asian race, feel superior to it, be condescending or even feel sorry for them yet hypocritically feel exotic. And if self-promotion requires prying open the foothold on the other culture or race will exploit it and pretend acquiesance or part of it.

Well I am African American, technically from the Carribean like these models above. A good amount of Carribean blacks are Asian mixed. Chinese in Guyana/Trinidad/Jamaica, marry blacks in higher amounts than in America. Somehow when Asians live around blacks they become less racist toward them.
So these Carribean models are NOT uncommon.
