Same studio as Haruhi also, Kyoto Animation Studio, which also did FMP-fumoffu and the Second Raid recently.

What's the difference between the 2002 and 2006 versions?
I only saw 1 ep of the 2002 version years ago.

Its basically the same story but with a different voice actor and character drawing for the protagonist.. the company that did AIR and Haruhi bought the rights to it and decided to remake it. now it has updated graphics, 24eps instead of 13eps and thats about it so far i think...

Sorry to go off topic, you remake Rurouni Kenshin and DBZ and I'll be happy.

It would take too much time and effort to remake a lengthy series like Kenshin or DBZ. Besides, why fix something that's not broken in the first place? The Kenshin OVA series in particular is already visually impressive by modern standards.

Several anime series have been remade that were created long ago, like Astroboy and Dr. Slump, they had changed of course and some remakes were shorter than the original but I don't care. I personally didn't like the artstyle in the Kenshin OVAs myself.

Kyoto Animation is going to be animating CLANNAD created by the same company that produced Air and Kanon.

It could have been worse. As it is, I think spreading the ending out over one or more episode would have run and risk of being too stretched. Maybe bit rushed for one episode, but probably not enough material for two or three, that's what I'm thinking.
Anyway, does anyone know what Kanon fans are speaking about when they talk of the 'clock scene'? As much as I like KyoAni's Kanon Remake, I'm not sure if I want to get the original game to find out.
