QUOTE(asia07 @ Oct 14 2006, 10:10 PM)

...I did own the Independent Palace of Saigon and I could have been a high rank officer of South Saigon.
Not to disrepect, but I see kind of odd when someone says owning that building. I thought it's belong to the country-South Vietnam by that time.
QUOTE(asia07 @ Oct 14 2006, 10:18 PM)

I went to the reeducation camp but I escaped it in a few weeks. Later I worked for President Reagan. Tell your father and other South Vietnamese leaders to like President Reagan because I believe he was the one who negotiated with Hanoi to release political prisoners and let them come to America.
Everyone lost something in that war, 3 of our family members died for the South Vietnam, but it's the past. I don't choose side or vote because somebody did me or my family a favor. In Caliifornia, lot of candidates-both Rep and Dem- take advantages from Viet voters by placing anti-commie agenda on the board. They know they will get lot of votes just from that.

vietlove-it is true that these law makers have the power to make up or make propositions before it is voted to become laws.
I agree, that's the way law makers work. It's come from the interest of their their own, their districts that they're prepresented, or from lobby groups. That's why as a voter, people should use their own analysis, not to be influenced by others. lol
