Manchus are known to be Korean tribe but inside China, this fact is ignored and it is kind of very serious matter to metion about their origin and even Manchu themsleves keep silent without support or protest....
1. I wonder why reffering to minorities' origin is can be so sensitive issue in China.
2. Why Manchu keep silent about their origin. - do they believe they are totally different blood from Korean or Mongolian : Do they feel shameful to be descentands of Korean ancestors : do they think it is no more important to know or value who are they and where they are come from ; then do they have their own history of pre-Jin Dynasty?
Don't be serious or get upset. I just want to hear you guys' opinion on your identity or something like that to show what Manchu is.

Hmm I really don't understand you guys' reaction. For me this is very simple thing. I don't know why you are so serious about this. You can just answer Yes or No.
If it is not a decent question to ask about things of any other minorities in modern China, I think i know why it sould be sensitive matter but hard to understand why they get furious without any reasonable comment.
If i offended you with this kind of question, I am really sorry..... but still don't know what aspects of my question has caused problem.....

This is the last Emperor of Qing.
don't you think he looks perfectly like Korean and Mongolian?
Do you think he has any appereance or any impression of native Chinese (south west origin)
His family name means "Golden Shilla" or " love of Shilla"
Manchus had their own distinct look, but from marrying Han people, they lost their language and customs. The royal family of Manchurians are anything but pure, but the Manchurian commoners still have most of their ancestors' original looks. But what that guy said... ROFL

What's really stupid is that everytime posts up an "offensive" thread in K-chat, the members there always eventually drag the Chinese into it, taking the opportunity to insult them without even the slightest evidence that the thread starter's Chinese. Happened tons of times before. But when some obvious K-troll comes in here, the Korean members are all like, "NOOOO, he CAN'T be Korean, probably some CHINESE" and then they take the opportunity to insult us again. Simpletons.

Not sure about the number of THREADS, but definitely the greatest number of posters with obvious trolling-tendencies...whether they exhibit them blatantly (ones that create blatantly racist threads and get banned on the spot) or more subtly (i.e. Dingdingding, some of those Mongolian posters, etc.).

most chinese trolls here think china is superior in every way, insulting koreans and japanese of being inferior. whats funny is that most koreans and japanese respond in a civilized manner but most chinese trolls just plain out simply insult others. not saying to all but thats what i see in most chinese trolls in other threads.

You'd be surprised.

I have even had my fair share of insults thrown at me by Korean posters who thought I was a troll way back when I first joined AF. IN MY OWN CHINESE CHAT too.
Those were obviously overly sensitive and defensive jerks.

Agreed, agreed. Although that isn't limited to losers pre-occupied with antagonizing other ethnicities over the net. There are quite a few posters who find joy in criticizing other members' pics in the pic forum, or pretending that they're women-experts who get plenty in real life but in reality wouldn't get by anything except a ten-foot pole.
And I realize I was posting in a rather hasty manner in response to donthateonboca's post back there.

That doesn't even make sense. Those Chinese trolls are TROLLS like you've said, so of course they're going to "just plain out simply insult others." Korean/Japanese trolls do the EXACT same thing. Are you saying that there aren't any Chinese posters who don't respond in a civilized manner to Korean/Japanese trolls as well?

Stupid.
