US to bring nukes to South Korea
http://www.ndtv.com/morenews/showmorestory...ea&id=95139QUOTE
In a move that will have tremendous ramifications on nuclear security in Asia, the United States is expected to bring tactical weapons, including nuclear arms, back into the North Korean equation.
US nuclear weapons are expected to now return to South Korea - 15 years after they were withdrawn by Washington.

I believe the US agreed not to bring nukes to SK to keep the stability in the region.
If a war were the break out they could easily shoot one from korean waters anyway.
Korea and the US agreed that they would upgrade the nuclear missile umbrella.

A nuclearized Korean pennisula is a temporary solution to achieve peace and stability, since mutual assured destruction is now obtained. Could peace and stability be maintained in the long run with both sides raising their nuclear umbrellas? If the cold war does offer any lesson, the former Soviet Union went bankrupt due to a large part its arms race with the US. Would North Korea want to enter a nuclear arms race with the US?

North Korean CAN'T enter any kind of arms race with the US, especially in nuke department. Their nuclear arsenal isn't meant to achieve MAD. You can clear see that the North Koreans aren't prepared to go to war with nuclear weapons.
1) They do not have any kind of early warning system for enemy nuclear launch. They also lack high-altitude radar coverage for even missile approach, meaning they're likely to feel a barrage of nuclear weapons before they can even detect it.
2) Their missiles cannot reach majority of US mainland. We are not even sure they can even reach the US west coast.
3) They do not have enough warheads for MAD. To get at US, hundreds of nuclear weapons would be needed to achieve MAD. The US only needs several megaton bombs.
4) Their delivery system is far from secure. You can hit land-based missile silos. If you want secure strategic arm, SSBN is the best bet, which North Koreans don't, and can't, have.
North Korean nuke is a bargaining chip and little else. The North Korean leadership wants the use nuke as a political tool to get more aid and funding, as well as deter outside interference by using it as a threat.

And the author knows this how? The article is anonymous and doesn't cite any sources. I'm not saying it's not true, I just want to see more evidence.

I think South Korea hates America more than North Korea.
