What are some movies that you feel are deserving of more acclaim? I really liked Master and Commander (Russell Crowe).

I think Enigma. Kate Winslet was pretty good in it, as well as the lead guy.

oh yeah, I 4got, The Goonies was pretty good too. It was an 80's movie but it was one of my fave movies when I was younger. I especially loved it when the fat kid chunk did the 'Truffle Shuffle' and when they went down that water slide thing. It looked really fun.

It's bad enough that my friend and I suggested watching it in 11th grade drama to see what bad on screen drama is like, the teacher laughed and we showed the class the end scene. Since then my friend got the movie and we watch it for humor. lol

Never heard of it. I never really liked Marisa Tomei for some reason although she is kinda cute.

15 Minutes. Felt like justice was served at the end of the movie.

Damn straight the most underrated movie is Fahrenheit 451.

The Insider - More people should have seen this movie. Visually stylish, great lighting, great music, and best of all, a non-hokey David vs. Goliath story about a dude who blows the whistle on big tobacco to protect his manhood only to do it for the right reason later on. Really great film.

Jerry Maguire - I hear a lot of people saying this movie is corny, but to me, a lot of questions on life can be answered from watching this movie for us guys.

Dazed and Confused - Even though it's a high school movie set in the 70s, this movie was as close as it got to my high school experience. It was like a carbon copy of my memories in high school.

That's it! I was trying to think of what I absolutely loved but I kept forgetting (maybe because it's so underrated!) I agree, The Insider was great. It blew me away. I'm not too big on Russell Crowe, but if you hate him or like him, you've got to watch this film.

I never knew this movie was underated since it was nominated for the Oscars. I thought is was over exposed.

As someone already posted, Boondock Saints is one of my favourite underrated films.

Also Suicide Kings with Denis Leary and Christopher Walken. If anyone likes drama and suspense movies then you should check this one out. I bought the DVD after I rented it, awesome movie.

Equilibrium is also wicked cool.

lol, yeah I found out it was after I posted this. I used to think it was underrated because I didn't hear anyone my age talking about it when it was playing. Maybe it's because mostly old people watched it.. the theater seemed to be 90% grey heads when I went to see it with my dad.
