what? i think utada's at least pretty. well, dunno if you guys have heard, but she's going to have a track on the Olympic's album. here is the most informative post i've read on this so far, posted at Url Ban.com, by Maikeul.
Finally some news!! Utada will be performing on the soon to be released UNITY album which will be produced for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The song is titled, "By Your Side," and features Timbaland and Kiley Dean. The album will be released in Japan on July 7th, and internationally on July 12th, 2004. Utada is the only Asian artist to participate in this project. More information will be released soon.
According to a few Japanese sources (Sanspo, Yomiuri Online), "By Your Side" is a relaxed R&B track, with a very classic "Timbaland" sound, replete with hard beats and syncopation. It is also stated that the song was recorded in March in the States, and that the song features strong harmonization between Utada and Kiley.
For right now, here's the tracklist:

EDIT: Just as a point of clarification, although the album itself is being released by the EMI Group, this new track is an Utada song, not an "Utada Hikaru" song. The EMI Group is just the label who is putting this compilation album together.
