I get weirded out when people start asking me what part of India I'm from. I personally enjoyed the label of being "Indian" and Indian only by non-Indians.

There's quite a lot of Paki street gangs in the UK but not as many Indian gangs. Guns are illegal in the UK though, so they aren't involved in that many gun crimes, but usually just knife crimes, drugs, fraud, prostitution, racist riots (especially against black gangs), etc.

I've heard the Indo-Canadian gangs have gotten worse lately. But either way, gangs in Western countries are nothing compared to the gangs of the Indian subcontinent, because of all the corruption there.

In UK you get gangs organisation like the Shere-E-Punjab in West London/Birmingham/Wolverhampton but they kind of gone, after their fights...but its Pakistani gangs in UK lots of them, someone mentioned Bradistan/Manchester/Sheffield/Oldham etc etc... There bes lot of trouble, fights between Indian/Panjabi and Pakistani/Kashmiri gangs.

There are tons of Sri Lankan gangs in toronto. All of them came to Canada so to do crime or anything lucrative to fund the tigers back home. there was a piece about it on City news...it was just about 6 or 7 years ago when Sri Lankan beat out jamaicans for commited crime, ranging from B & E to murder.

I read on the sikh times that punjabi-americans in california's bay area, are the most violent offenders in the area. There has been a recent increase in Tamil/Sri Lankan gangs in the UK aswell. They look more gangster than Punjabis though. Punjabis are just a bunch of black-wannabes, while the Tamils are already black.

Tamils probably have the longest names in the world, like this guy called Jeymanishingalangamandandachandramukhiwarrenskandaharbalakantupundewarrenathan, and that's just his first name (his second name is even longer), but their names always seem to end with a white man name like Warren or Nathan for some reason.
