I found the answer...the answer to your problem is the 3D form of Schrödinger wave equation.

it's all plug and chug, if you assume gamma SM = gammaML, then the first equation's last two terms are canceled out since they'd be zero. the rest is plug and chug. it's a rather long one.

If gamma sm = gamma ML, then wouldn't the last two terms of the equation disappear since Asm x gamma sm-Asmxgamma ML =0?

Then all you have is the first two terms of the equation multiply by s(theta), then just substitute in the terms and do some equation manipulation, and you should get the answer.

haha that's what i said, but the manipulation part is pretty tedious. but yeah do that and you'll eventually get the answer.
