I'm voting for the democrat of my district even though I worked for the republican of my district. As an intern, I worked hard for this republican congressmen but he made some ignorant remarks about my dad's restaurant (asking me if my dad cooks the dead animals from the vet next door).Plus i was overworked and underpaid. I wanted experience but unfortunately a job such as that needed 100% devotion to ideology, party, and to the congressman. That is why I quit his campaign about a month ago. Another reason I quit was because I was defending republicans too much. My concentration was promoting my congressman but I often had to defend republicans, explaining the george allen fallout and the iraq war. WTF so I quit. I'm now helping the democrat very hard to win. Doing phone bank and field canvassing.

My votes will go to the democratic challenger of my district incumbent and to Jim Webb, who is running against Senator george allen (the guy who made the macacca remark).

I don't live in maryland but I want cardin to win against steele and O Malley to win against Erlich

I want you to know that voting is very important. This time is a critical moment in American history. We democrats can finally take back the house and senate and in 2008, we will have the white house. Most of you seem discontent with the Bush administration and the republican party. Well don't b!tch all day and do nothing. Go vote and change it.

GO VOTE

I really dislike the political ads put up by the republican national committee. They are using scare tactics to get americans to vote for them. Showing Al Qaeda leaders and terror on tv to scare american people and to make them believe they are safer under bush and republicans. I don't feel safe under this administration and this congress. I feel that they are doing more bad than good and creating new terrorists. The ads is also a cheap tactic to make people believe democrats are incapable of protecting us. WRONG WRONG WRONG There needs to be change.

What has this congress accomplish? Republicans have all of government. The legislative, judicial, and executive. And what have they done? Made things worst if you asked me.

Also for you republican voters, PLZ explain why you are voting for your republican candidates.

o and the reason, i think Republicans are sexier people in general. I mean wtf look at my boy Bill O'reilly, he should have taken the modeling path. but since he cared so much about america, he decided to be a news analyst, sometimes ANALyst.

The US congress and the Bush administration are way fu-k up right now. I think the Dem are going to win, but I dont think they can make things better because everything is so fu-ked up right now...especially Iraq.

I was eligible to vote for the first time in 2000 and I also tended to vote for democrats because usually they're more in tune to minority and women rights, but then when I got older I didn't really see eye to eye to many issues with the party and some of the Republican candidates made some sense on certain issues. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should vote on issues and not on political candidates that's affiliated with any party.

BTW I'm a libertarian and it's greatly different than a conservative or liberal. I vote on who's more in tune with my political ideologies than just who represents which party. Besides Democrats wanted to continue affirmative action in California in 1996 which would have seriously curb the number of Asians admitted to the University of California campuses in the name of diversity. Good thing Prop 209 pass or I might have been blocked from going to one of the best public state universities in Cali and the nation. Crap like that proposed by the Dems discriminates agaisnt Asians. We now make up the majority of many UC campuses like at LA or Berkely or Irvine.

This is a tough election. I hate the Dems and the republicans equally. The Dems are whining little b!tches who lie about everything. The republicans are lying little b!tches who have forgot their obligation to the voters.
Both parties are elitist snobs who feel bullet proof and have no sense of accountability.
I will vote for what ever independents are running. As I will in the next presidential.
Why? Because maybe if enough people do it will send a wake up call to the establishment.
I was a life long republican but I am thoroughly sick of both parties. As for whose campaign ads suck the worst? Its a toss up neither side has bothered to talk fact. Half truths at best out and out lies at worst.

I'm going for the Dems.

anything you do PLEASE do not vote purely on partisan lines. research the subjects debated. research backgrounds of your representatives.

I'm a democrat but i'd vote for good republicans any day.

He'll never win. I think you actually have to accomplish something (good or bad I suppose) before you get to be President. From what I've seen he hasn't actually done anything. It's all hype and nonsense.

I'm voting for Blackwell ® for Gov. because I agree with him on most issues, like spending caps. But I'm not voting at all in the Senate contest since DeWine ® is a little b!tch who sold out the people, who actually voted for him, on (illegal) immigration. F___ing moderates always forget who put them in office.

The virginia race is ugly. Webb has not even attacked Allen on his racist comments while Allen has been attacking Webb's personality. Allen has been running his ads like every other commercial. Its starting to get annoying.

I can't vote cuz I'm not a citizen, just a permanent resident, even if I was, I still wouldn't vote.

Yeah, the Allen-Webb smackdown just keeps on getting more bizarre with Allen pulling out those excerpts from Webb's novels and with the two Allen supporters attacking the blogger at UVA on top of all of those obscure racist allegations. Gotta love the senate races. sure.gif
