Thats true in korea. But most singers in america can actually sing. Also to have a korean make an album in the US, is a huge huge move. So what im sayin is, out of all the singers, did they have to choose seven? that guy will not impress anyone in the US. What does he have to offer? In the US, you realy gotta have skill. Plus in his performances, he's probably gonna do that nike crap like 5 times in the same song. Plus his English sucks. He cant even speak it. Thats like gettin Tae Jin Ah to make a rap album in the US featuring snoop dogg and jay-z.

You're kidding right? Most singers in America can actually sing???! NOT!!! Haha! That's so ignorant. Hello...Britney Spears, J-Lo, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Ashley Simpson, Paula Abdul, the list can go on. SOME singers in america can actually sing. It's more about the packaging. Image is a product to sell these days.
I am white and as for SE7EN, I am thrilled he is making his way to the usa. I already have all of his cd's I've ordered online and I listen to them all the time. He needs to seriously work on his english is he seriously wants to succeed here, but I don't see that being much of a problem for him. It won't take long for him to learn english. He's already fluent, or almost fluent, in a couple of other languages. I think he is a truely gifted performer. His voice is superb. He is an awesome singer. As for BI (RAIN), he's an extremely talented dancer and actor, his singing is good, but not great. Perhaps they are going full speed ahead with SE7EN to the U.S. instead of BI is because BI is extremely korean looking. Not that that's a bad thing. If he was standing in front of me I don't think I could resist him. He's absolutely gorgeous with his smoldering sexiness and bedroom eyes. BI looks and sounds older than he is. He's very manly. In contrast, SE7EN looks his age and has a younger boyish voice that would really appeal to american teens and chicks in their early 20's, but we don't always want a boy, we want a man too. They figure that once we are hooked on SE7EN we can watch him blossom into something more manly as well, as we grow up with him. I just hope america doesn't change him for the worst. SE7EN comes off as very charming and sweet. That appealed to me. I'm just really tired of american music being so sexual. It's like musical porn now.
When SE7EN was on the newly developed MTV K, with several other korean acts, one fan asked what makes korean performers so special? Sean or Juni or whatever didn't know what to say, until one of them said, "koreans are really smart" which I thought was a dumb answer. You're trying to sell music here, not mathematics. If I was there I would have raised my hand and said, I know!, Koreans are very soulful. It is true. They are very soulful and passionate performers. Yeah, not all of them, but compared to america, they are. I really enjoy watching SE7EN perform because I know he's enjoying performing.
