Wow didn't even know there are Viets in Russia. They must be international students? But why study abroad in Russia? Do they even have any decent Universities? I heard the discrimination over there is 10x than what it is in America, U.k, Canada. I heard they've ban Asian males from marrying Russian women. It's a combo of international students, laborers and according to the Russian authorities, illegal immigrants - the part about illiegal immigrants, I do take with a grain of salt.

With the exception of classical music and few other programs, mainly in art, it doesn't make any sense to study in Russia anymore.
If they want to get a job with foreign-owned companies, or any company in VN, then a degree from western countries will count more.
For working oversea or pursuing higher education in other western countries, having a Russian degree will be a disadvantage. It's credits will not be accepted by most universities. Even a degree from India can fair better than a Russian.
