Hey…......... Wow!!! People…… are….. talking about me, …… kind of weird…..... Some good, some just weird. But that is ok.
Well, my 13 year old sister, in MN, just found out about these blogs and myspaced me.
Also some other people told me about it, but didn’t really care and I just thought of it now. To be honest with you guys, you really don’t know me. And those who do know me……… knows me. For the real me. But hey, that is ok.
Let me just set things straight.
Brenda Song and I have never mate each other and we are not doing a movie together. She is still shooting her sitcom in LA. And I am shooting two-three Indie-Films and rehearsing a Broadway show in New York City at the moment.
Just a note, on the whole Hmong thing. I am kind of angered by it, for the fact that people don’t even know me or Brenda Song and would judge us for not being Hmong enough. So how Hmong do you guys want us to be?!?!?!?!? I still wear the Hmong clothing, that my mom sew or buy, to the Hmong New Year. Well I won’t be at the Hmong New Year this year b/c I am in New York, but that is not the point. I am Hmong! And I will always be Hmong! Because my grandparents are Hmong and one day they decided to have a good…..night, and had my parents. And same for my parents, that is why I am here.
Just a note for you guys: my dad is one of the MN Hmong Moua Clan Leaders, Mee Moua is my cousin, and trust me I have many, many, and many Hmong Activist cousins, uncle, aunts, and etc……. You could name them all, I am related to them some how.
And your grandparents and parents probably know my grandparents and my parents.
And just to defend Brenda Song, have you guys gone to her website? Because sure enough on her bio, it does say that she is Hmong/Thai???????? Or Thai/Hmong???????
Same difference.
And yes there are a lot of old pictures of me when I was 11-17 years old, on-line. Because when I was in MN, a couple of local newspapers did articles about my work. But things have change and this me now. You got to love it or not, I really don’t care. And yes I am funny. I had the pleasure to have dinner with Tou Ger Xiong last year in New York and he is a very inspirational guy and quite funny himself.
Just a note: with so much negativity, like some people on this blog, that is why not a lot of Hmong people are as successful. So please, stop being so close minded. And support each other, even Hmong movies that are made here. Don’t just sit there and complain.
If you think you could do better, lets’ see you do it! Or just be part of it and help make it better.
And just to let you guys know there are other Hmong Actors/Actress out there like: Wa Yang, in LA from MN, Sandy C’ Moua, in MN, and many other Hmong Actor friends.
So feel free to contact me if you have any more questions or concerns of me not being Hmong enough, for you guys.
And for those who need some pointers in this industry, I am here to help.
So are Wa, Sandy, and my other close friends. Just don’t be afraid to ask us. We are all here trying to help change the view that many people have on the Hmong people.
And yes I am just 19 years old.
So, I kind of put everything out there. If you have any more concerns or questions. Just let me know.
To learn more about me just visit my website or find me on myspace, yes I am on it too.

you know, imo this kinda sounds like this:
hi i'm the real me, i'm a movie star. i don't care what you guys are saying about me, that's why i'm posting this here. you all might not know me but just in case you want to mess with me i got people in high places. my dad is the leader of the moua clan, senator mee moua is my auntie, i know all the hmong activists they will vouch for me. i'm related to all the "top" contender people somehow. your grandpa knows my grandpa.... so feel free to contact me if you have any more questions or concerns of me not being Hmong enough, for you guys.
you've gotten all good comments so i'm guessing i'm the only one that feels this way, but to me it's comming off like you're saying you're "better" than us just cuz you're in movies? especially with that "just a note for you guys" paragraph. so what if you're pops is one of the leaders of the moua clan? you're auntie is mee moua yippie! you know many hmong activists, you have close friends in the movie biz, so what does all that have to do with your post or about people saying you're not hmong enough? ohh and saying you're not posting this to defend yourself but then the title is "i'm the real doua moua" kinda just doesn't work that well together. not a hater, i don't know you, your pop's, or mee moua, just typing my opinion, but good luck and props to you.
