Her social / political / religious views should more or less be aligned with mine (this is VERY important for me)

I would prefer my ideal mate to be liberal in social and political views
I am not that concerned about ethnicity but I am realizing these days that marrying an indian wouldn't require me to make too many compromosies - But it is still an open question. If my ideal mate happens to be a white or lebanese and I don't have to compromise too much personally or in regards to my parents then it wouldn't be a problem.
She better not be of same linguistic or caste group ( I can compromise here, but I would prefer otherwise)


So, I am definitely not going to marry anyone who thinks stem cell research is abomination or along those lines. Not going to marry a jesus freak. I eat beef, so if she happens to lean on conservative side of hinduism she should be open to me eating. My most imporant factor is that social/political views has to be more or less aligned with mine. Because, I have in many ways strong social/political views!

Why are you so scared of psychologists and psychatrists? The ones I know lead marriages that are just fine.

I don't know, I always think psychologists are trying to analyze you and your every step. I think, if I were to ask a girl out who is a psychologist she would analyze how I am making my move and stuff. It won't be mysterious any more, and I would sort of feel a lil violated . Same thing after marriage too I guess. It would be as if I have no privacy

Analyzing is only for the job. Not everybody takes their job everywhere with them.

Seriously...psychologists have their own lives to worry about too, and not all pyschologists work with analyzing. Some are college professors, work for the government, do research, etc.

I don't know, one of my friends who is a psychology major told me that sometimes she automatically starts analyzing ppl as some sort of instinct or someting.

Anyway, who cares - I am prejudiced against psychologists and psychiatrists, and I like to stay prejudiced
