But you gotta understand the world and society that Asian Americans live in. In California, its a jungle out there for us Asian people.
I grew up in San Diego, it's a really nice place ...

You better thank those young Cambodian, Viet, and Laotian (and some Hmong) males and females whom back in the 80's and 90's fought off all those non-Asians. They shed alot of blood back then for us.
Thank you for making Cali a better place for us asians!

I know, my 2 bros and sis whom are all 30 years and older, use to throw down (and retaliated with weapons)with alot of non-Asians back in the the 80's and early 90's.

Im cool with all races of people.
then why do you keep mentioning non-asians??
QUOTE
I feel bad for NY Asians. Im always reading an article about young Chinese males and females getting beaten and robbed over there. If only they would take heed to us Cali Asians.
it also happens to blacks, jews, middle easterners, mexicans, puerto ricans (sorry if i didn't mention your ethnicity).

Its better to fight fire with water instead of fighting fire with fire, but most of the time it doesnt work.

Greek fire can be a b!tch to put out!
I think you should get better role models. yeah i agree some people got it tough, but gangbanging isn't all there is you know.
I really mean no offense to your family, but what were your brother and sister fighting for? Asian survival or just to look good in front of their friends??

Nah, it just shows us Hmong guys needs better after-school recreational activities. I admit I was a little into that gangbangin' crap as a teen. I think back then, it was mostly cause girls like that kinda stuff and I had nothing else better to do. We need more positive male role models as kids rather than looking up to our older gang bangin' brothers, cousins, and whatever.
great post
