I used to read the older history of Japan how the way that the Japan people eating for their meals as: The Japan usually used their buds sitting touch the ground around the table to have their meals, they didnt need to sit on the chairs...So?? I have a question to ask you all!!

Do the Japan still retain that old tradition til today??????

well it's cheaper to not buy chairs...

i guess puttin urself close to the ground helps u get in touch wit nature, liek u're eating part of nature so u might as well connect wit the ground. =\

That story is fact!!! I watched a movie once year ago...Now i forgot about its tittle. But i still remember lil meaning related to that story as: Once American guy came to visit the Japan family. at that time, the Japan invited him for dinner or lunch...The Japan family brought all food putted full on the table...It seemed having KimChi too...(Not sure). Welcome and serve yourself!!! Then The American asked: May i had a chair!!
Sorry! We, Japanese dont need the chairs...
The American said: Why??
The Japan said: It againsted for our religion...
The American said: I was not a Japan religion...
The Japan said: But you are at my home...


So?? I think is very important policy by depending where you are. If you at Japan country, you've to respect its policy. but if you are at USA, you must follow its law..

I see at the Tokoyo Capital is very populous...Its a nice place for Tourists of all people!!! So?? Why dont we all go there for vacations now???? I will be there next month for one month...Could you tell me which Japan food is a great once in there???????????

It's not japanese religion to sit on the floor. We just didn't make chairs. Making chairs meant a lot of work (cutting down trees, making nails (something non-existant in Japanese culture until 19th century), etc).

It's culture, not religion. And I most Japanese don't eat on the floor anymore. I eat on a dining table and chairs. I personally don't like eating on the floor, it gives back pains.
