I will be in Vegas in mid-January. It will be my first time there. Can anyone recommend some places to check out and eat at?

I was there a week ago and had a great time at the Wynn -- had a rental car but never had to leave the hotel during my stay.

Of course, if you are not old enough or not much into the casino scene, you would likely get bored.

My favorite buffet remains the Bellagio and favorite brunch is at the Commander's Palace (in the Aladdin.) Never have strayed too far from The Strip, so cannot offer much advice on what's worthwhile, although I hear Fremont Street is interesting.
