We were able to get an interview with the ever so lovely Denise Cheng! Read on!

Denise ChengAsiaFinest: What is your nationality?
Denise Cheng: 100% Chinese

AsiaFinest: How did you get into the modeling business?
Denise Cheng: Originally, I wanted to be an actress.. so in college, I majored in theatre arts. Then I realized that I needed an agency to get work, and to do that I needed photos. One thing lead to another, and before I knew it, I was shooting with various photographers.

AsiaFinest: Any goals that you want to achieve but still haven't?
Denise Cheng: There are many, and I hope I never stop growing as a person. I'd like to have a family, have a more successful career and working on bigger and better projects.. .also becoming financially independent.

AsiaFinest: Tell us about your most exciting or funniest moments.
Denise Cheng: Cracking jokes with my boyfriends, while watching SNL or madTV

AsiaFinest: What was your favorite project or work to this date?
Denise Cheng: Shooting

AsiaFinest: What's the most embarrassing moment in your life?
Denise Cheng: I was walking to an apartment swimming pool wearing a tiny bikini while a whole bunch of guys were checking me out, and I slipped and fell on my butt. It was a very ugly fall, and a very embarrassing moment.

AsiaFinest: How has the Internet changed your life?
Denise Cheng: It's opened up my word, bringing with it opportunities and more independency.

AsiaFinest: Any future project or work that you would like our visitors to know?
Denise Cheng: The very talented artist, "Silk Satin" just did a pin-up painting of me. I will start selling that on my site (check it out in her picture gallery)

AsiaFinest: Did you parents support your decision to model?
Denise Cheng: No! unfortunately.

AsiaFinest: What's the hardest part of being a model?
Denise Cheng: Dealing with people within the industry

AsiaFinest: Where would you be today if you weren't a model?
Denise Cheng: Probably a piano teacher

AsiaFinest: For the male visitors of AsiaFinest: Are you currently single? How would a guy approach a beauty like you? What do you look for in a guy? Turn Ons and Turn Offs?
Denise Cheng: I am currently single. How would a guy approach a beauty like you? be themself and just be true and honest. What do you look for in a guy? Someone with respect for himself and others.. who has a stronger sense of moral and family values. Who is funny, and willing to give himself to me and accept me as who I am
Turn on's: Bubble baths, intellectual conversations, humour, massage with aroma oils, candle light and romantic music, loving whispers in my ears.
Turn off's: Rude people, dishonesty and violence

AsiaFinest: What do you do for fun?
Denise Cheng: Traveling, camping, playing the piano, shopping for clothes, dancing, roller-skating, water skiing and hanging out with my boyfriend

AsiaFinest: Has the tragic Sept 11 event affected you in any way?
Denise Cheng: Yes!, it has made me realize how much I need to appreciate what I have and the people whom I love.
